Procedure

  1. Watch and Listen to this 4 minute video from Video Jug.  I am a big fan of Video Jug, though most videos have British accent, there is a tab for a  Text  Version so you can read (instead of watch) the video or reread to review.

    • fully describes the contents of the email.  For example: "CIS120 Email to get my name in your address book"
    • contains your name IF  your email provider does not put it in the "From " automatically (UCC, AOL and Comcast do not, so if you use these please, put your name in the subject)
  3. Using your standard email, be it Yahoo! Mail yahoo, gmail  ucc, aol, BlackPlanet or whatever email you check regularly (at least 3 times per week)
Send me email at njinternetprof@gmail.com immediately so that I can
    • include your email address in my email address book so you will recieve all the emails I send toall students of the class
    • qualify you on the WebBoard
    • send you an invitation to the class WetPaInt wiki
You will introduce yourself on the WebBoard soon, but in the body of this your introductory email tell me a bit about yourself and/or ask something about the the course.
