Create a Tripod Web Site

  • Note: it seems like you have to spend a lot of time to do this assignment, but I've been working on my web site for 10 years. 
    Building a web site takes lots of time and I highly recommend you begin this endeavor in early March!
  • Create a web site on tripod.com.  Even if you know FrontPage, HTML or Dreamweaver, the purpose of this assignment is to show the ease of creating a site using the Trelix interface.  You site must have the following:
    • 3 or more pages
    • an internal link (a links to another page in your site) via text
    • an external link (a links to another site such as UCC's WebCT or prof's personal site) via text
    • an internal link via a graphic
    • an external link via a graphic
    • interesting use of fonts, and colors
    • an email link
    • a table
    • several Web Gems: interesting cursor, etc
    • good page titles on all pages
    • a page with your resume
  • Post the address (URL) of your site onto the WebBoard -

  • Visit the web sites of 5 or more fellow student and post suggestion for improvement as replies to their post.
