Introduction to Computer Applications

Before YOU Get Started

This course is an introduction to the operation and use of microcomputers. Emphasis will be placed on the use of word processing, electronic spreadsheets, presentations, graphics, and the Internet. The course introduces the student to Microsoft Office.

Though hands-on examples, students will get experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Internet Explorer.
3 Credits: 2 lecture hours and 2 laboratory hours per week
Prerequisites: ADM 101 or keyboarding skills, ENG 088, MAT 011, or instructor approval.
