Themes - with office and from the web

Words (formatting same as Word:
color, font, bullets, tables)

Images

	From the web
	Clip Art
	Drawing (oval, rectangle, Autoshapes, color, border)
	WordArt

Hyperlinks

Slide Show (Pen Color, Web)

Slide Transitions

Animation (Effects, Order, Sound)

Paper Handouts (name, date, grayscale)

Submit the plan

Learn more about PowerPoint if need be using the PowerPoint Help (Help menu or F1) or the online Tutorials

Do the research

Create the presentation

Read Yahoo Jan 25, 2006 Article on ways to prepare for a presentation

Rehearse - Review with a fellow classmate (see Learning Pyramid- you learn the most when you teach others)

Review the presentations of fellow classmates (see Learning Pyramid-)

Print handouts

Make the presentation in class

Observe the presentations of other, reflect on what you thought was effective so that you can incorporate that into your next presentation

Assessment

Level of attainment of the Student Learn Objectives will be assessed via

	Observation of the presentation
	A quiz where a small presentation is created
	A similar problem on the final exam
