Kiddy Book Review,
Magazine
Review, and Computer Expo,
and Computer Store Visit
 | Show off the word processing techniques you have learned (the
document may look a bit too jazzy...don't worry that great!)
|
 | Make it short (one page is best), but make each word
count. First paragraph should contain the essentials, such as the name of the book
or magazine, site or store visited. If a book, include the author and copyright date, if
magazine the issue date, if a store, its locations and where it's located and when you
visited. If a Web site, how did you find it (search engine, what
keywords, directory, hyperlinked from what site). Introductory
paragraph should have 2 or 3 sentences. |
 | Second paragraph tells the
important points and what you learned in 5 or 6 sentences.
|
 | Last paragraph is for your opinion. Your opinion of the book,
store, Expo or what have you. Your opinion of the assignment. Your opinion of
the course so far. |
 | Be sure your Name, section number and the date is up in the upper
right hand corner (this is best done with the Header function) |
 | Use the spelling checker
|
 | Check that you have complied
with all the word processing hints. |
 | Show off all the word
processing skills you have learned like
 |
Footnotes |
 | Page Borders |
 | Bullets and Numbers |
 | Clip art (crop, watermark, etc) |
 | Shading, highlighting, boxes |
 | Tables |
