After completing the database assignment the student will have shown that they are able to:
Create a Microsoft Access database that includes use of the following features:
| design a table using the table wizard and then use design view to add, delete or reorder fields and to modify their type or length. |
| enter data and navigate in both datasheet and form view |
| create a form using the form wizard |
| understand the difference between form design and form entry and what is entered/modified with each |
| modify the format of forms (change field sizes, change label and field appearance: colors, borders and effects) |
| create a report using the wizard that groups data with subtotals |
