After this session the attendee should be able to

	discuss threats from browsing the Internet and how to reduce them
	name the choices for a browser and the criteria for selecting one
	use various screen on the Windows Control Panel to customize the viewing experience
	customize IE 7's search to include various provides and their choice of default
	add IE Search choices - Additional providers
	use 4 Scrolling methods
	identify IE icons and drop down
	customize screen and the IE Links toolbar by adding frequently used sites
	clear cookies and history
	use external (social) bookmarks such as del.icio.us, SimplyBox, Googlenotebook and explain the benefit of social bookmarking
	print with an identifying header, only selected portions of screen or selected pages pages
	know the URLs (addresses to reach) and uses of extremely useful bots such as onelook.com (dictionary) and answers (one click encyclopedia)
	understand the uses of a custom Google search and the basics of setting one up

Threats-when you click and "go to" a site you are giving the site permission to download into your computer anything it wants to
(usually is good - a new screen, music, a video, etc but could beBAD - virus) always hover and look at URL of destination site on lower left of screen before clicking

Browser Choices: AOL, Firefox, Internet Explorer, Versions, Chrome from Google

Windows Control Panel Mouse - Pointer Options tab and Schemes on Pointers tab.
Toggle Keys on Accessibly Options for soudn when you tap Caps Locks (or Num Lock)

IE Search - upper right - pull down triangle
Choose Find More Providers...

4 ways to use the scroll bar
  - ^ on top and bottom move the window up/down one line at a time
  - wheel in middle of mouse
  - push the scroll box or "thumb" (darker color blob that you drag)
  - click above the "thumb" to move up a page or below to move down a complete page
