Read Naming & Absolute value hint

Create the Pancake Breakfast sheet shown below.  This example has only 4 names, but the final sheet will have hundreds, and the person who hired you is not sure what will be the charge for individuals or family maximum.  So your sheet needs to be flexible.

Family name goes in column A, Number of people in family goes in column B and then the charge for the family is computed in column C.

The charge is $4 per person or $15 per family.

Create the sheet with 4 or more families and a Total row below.

If you put the 4 and the 15 in the formula, it will work fine, BUT it is NOT the right way to do it.  See Spreadsheet hints.) The best way to do it is to name the 2 values in column E before you write the formula in column C.  But, if you have already written the formula in cell c1 , name the values in column E, and then Apply the names to the formula in column C (see Naming & Absolute value hint).

Save your file.

Add Heading with a title, your name and the date and a footer with the file name.

Print the Sheet and then switch to formula view, add Row and column headings and Gridlines and print that.

Change the rules to $6 per person with a $20 maximum per family.

Print your formatted values again (remember to remove gridlines and Row and Column Labels).

This could be another way the sheet is used: Change the values in cells E1 and E2 for a gala charity dinner where the per person cost would be $100 and the cost for a table, which holds 12 would be $1,000.  All column C values should change once you change E1 and E2.  To test your IF formula, put 12 in B1.
