Menus (Switchboard)

Objective:

To create a main menu (or optionally submenus) that provide a user friendly interface to the Forms, Queries and Reports that have been created. Since this is the last assignment and is really a programming not database activity, it is simply to tie a bow around our package.

Assignment:

	Using MS Access to create menu(s) for your database.
	Follow procedure to upload your MDB and post description.
	Follow Procedure to read about, download and critique the menus of teammates and other class members.
	Respond to your critiques.

Details:

Learn about Access Menus and the Switchboard

	read about reports in an Access book
	use online MS Access help, type "Switchboard" into Answer Wizard.

Procedure:

Create menu per details above

Compact and upload it to your virtual drive and post summary of what you did on the Bulletin Board.

Post summary of what you did on the Bulletin Board indicating your work is ready to be reviewed.

Check if your teammates or other class members have posted their their Database contain a menu.

If so download the MDB

Review the menu(s)

Post suggestions on the Bulletin Board

Imitate good ideas in your menus

Look for suggestions to your Menu(s)

incorporate suggestions into your design and upload to our virtual drive again then note improvement on Bulletin Board or

post reasons you think suggestions won't work

Continue to do step 5 and 6.
