	change the font face

	change the look (on top right)
	change the layout
	add a link to some page(s) on the web that you like
	provide a graphic link for folk to email you (animated email graphics)
	add a gadget (see lower right)
	save your work (on top right)
	preview your work & close the preview window

Create a new page (on top left)

type a page title

type a subtitle

type main content

type a footer

change the font face

change the font sizes

change the look (on top right)

change the layout

save your work (on top right)

preview your work & close the preview window

add a few gadgets (on the bottom right) for example

	the current date and time
	a Google Map
	Weather
	a Wikipedia search
	a countdown
	local gas prices
	a PacMan, Blocks, Invader or Frogger game
	Horoscopes
	they keep adding stuff so show us stuff we haven't seen!

important - put a link to your home page by clicking on Link (on the left)

	type Home or "go back home" or whatever text you want to be the link
	with Your pages highlighted on the left click on your home page

important - put a link from the home page to this page by Clicking on "Back to Site Manager

	click on the icon for your Home page to open it
	click on Link
	type "my 2nd page" or whatever better title you want to be the link
	with your pages highlighted on the left click on the title of your second page

Publish

send me an email with the URL http://whatever.googlepages.com

Add some pictures

click where you want the image

if the image is on the web

right click on it

	click Save Picture As
	put it on M: at school or My Document/My Pictures at home

once the picture is on a local disk

click on Image (on the left)

browse to the picture

Publish (each time you make changes that you want the world to see)

Creating a Portfolio page

	create a page called My portfolio or CIS100 work or what ever.
	click on Link (on the left)
	give it a good title
	click on Your files (2nd on the left)
	click on Browse
	locate the file (on M: at school. probably, on MyDocuments at home)
	click on OK

Creating a Resume page

	since the word can see it change your address to 123 Main street, you should keep the city and state. Change your phone to 555-1212. Leave your email so folks can get in touch with you.
	Copy and Past your Word email
	Make you phone number intro a clickable link.
