Microcomputer Applications Using Spreadsheets (Excel I)

CIS 115 or ADM 215 (3 credits)

COURSE OVERVIEW:

This course introduces you to the use of Excel 2007 which is the latest version of Microsoft's electronic workbook software.  It is a powerful spreadsheet program that allows you to organize data, complete calculations, make decisions, graph data, develop professional looking reports, publish organized data to the Web, and access real-time data from Web sites.  Major topics include:

It is STRONGLY advised that you purchase the required items listed below from the UCC bookstore, to make sure you obtain the correct materials. You cannot successfully complete the course unless you have ALL of them! You will also need the medium of your choice (preferably a USB drive) on which to save your work.
