Registered students should finish reading this page and then click on the Consumer Chem link at the top of this page for course access information.

The lecture portion of CHE 124/106 is delivered online.

All lab experiments for CHE 106 are completed at home.

A required $100 refundable lab kit deposit is  payable when students register  for this course.
This $100 is refunded
when the rented equipment is returned undamaged and in good working condition no later than the last day of the current semester. Students will be charged for the replacement of any broken rental equipment. Students who do not return their kits by the last day of the current term will forfeit their $100 deposit. Students who withdraw from the course are required to return their kits immediately. Failure to do so will result in a "hold" being placed on all their UCC activities.

There are four required in person meetings for all students: 1)  Orientation/ lab kit distribution (2) Midterm exam (3) Lab Final exam and lab kit return and (4) Lecture Final Exam. Distant students may make alternative plans to obtain their kits.
All exams are scheduled at a time that is individually convenient. Union County College students are expected to come to the Cranford campus for these tests. Students from other institutions who live a distance away may arrange to take proctored tests at local sites. Please contact me to make these arrangements.

Meetings for review sessions on the Cranford campus are scheduled on demand. I will be available for scheduled telephone, Email, and in person office consultation throughout the semester.

Please contact me for additional information.
