Most lab procedures and
report sheets are posted on WebBoard as downloadable MS word
docs. A few of the experiments are from the study guide.
Revisions for these experiments will be posted.
Lab kits containing
materials/equipment and chemicals for @home labs will be
available at the first on campus lab meeting. A refundable
check payable to Union County College in the amount of $100
is required for the rental of specialized equipment. This
deposit is refunded at the end of the term when the kit is
returned in good condition. Failure to return your kit by
the last day of the term will result in the forfeit of this
$100 deposit.
It is the student's responsibility to provide household
chemicals needed for each lab. Telephone the prep room,
N-13, if you have any questions about the contents of the
lab kit (908 709 7578).
GOGGLES must be
worn when performing all experiments from start to finish.

In addition, carefully
read and follow the specific procedures when carrying out
individual experiments. Lab reports must be submitted to me
from the webct course mailbox by midnight of the due date
listed.
The two scheduled on campus
lab meetings will be at 5:00 PM in lab N -13 on the Cranford
campus.
There will be five announced lab tests
(in
red)
on the dates indicated below. These lab tests are delivered
online at the WebCT test site and open at 6 AM on Mondays
and close at 6 AM on the following Wednesday.
An on campus written final exam will be given on
the day kits are returned.
