    Academic Year 2009 - 2010

A faculty member who is proposing either a new program or a new course is expected to attend and to present the new course or new program to the New Course/New Program Subcommittee and if approved, to attend and present the new program or course to the Full Curriculum Committee.  See dates below.

Susan Bissett, Library, is chairing the New Course/New Program Subcommittee.  Send eighteen (18) copies of your proposal to her by interoffice mail, Cranford Campus.  See Submission Deadlines below.  

Arrange directly with Susan Bissett to attend the New Course/New Program Subcommittee meeting - bissett@ucc.edu or 908-709-7104.

After the New Course/New Program Subcommittee approves your proposal, arrange directly with Dr. Susannah Chewning, Chair of the Curriculum Committee to attend the Full Curriculum Committee Meeting - chewning@ucc.edu  and to have your proposal available for review by the faculty at the next scheduled faculty meeting.  Your proposal will be distributed to the full faculty electronically.

The final deadline for any changes to the new academic catalog is 22 March – no exceptions.

*Please Note: Any new program or significant changes to an existing program that are approved by the Curriculum Committee at its May 2010 meeting will be presented to the full faculty for its review and approval at the October 2010 faculty meeting.
