Charge of the Committee:

The purpose of this committee (LAC) is to oversee the process of implementing the Middle States guidelines for the student learning outcomes assessment at the College.   

A.  Membership on the committee shall consist of nine faculty members, preferably one from each department, appointed by the Faculty Executive Committee, the Vice President for Academic Affairs or his designee, the Director for Assessment, Planning and Research, the director of academic testing, and up to three other administrators appointed by the administration. 

B. The committee shall be responsible for developing and publicizing the procedures for each academic department to follow in monitoring and evaluating the student learning outcomes in courses within their jurisdiction and in reporting the results of the evaluations in writing at the conclusion of each academic year.
