Professional Development Committee Minutes
January 28, 2008

The Professional Development Committee met on Monday, January 28, at 2:30 pm in Room H‑204 on the Cranford Campus.  Those attending were Maureen Greenbaum, Josaine Royster, Marc Postiglione, Lynn Meng, and. Judith Otterburn-Martinez

The committee agreed to hold the Conference on Saturday, April 12, instead of our originally planned date of April 5.  Maureen suggested we move all activities up so the Conference will begin at 8:30 am with the Continental Breakfast and end after lunch at 1:15 pm. 

Maureen also agreed to announce the Conference at the faculty meeting on Wednesday, January 30.  If it is too late for Bohdan Lucaschewsky to add her announcement to the agenda, Joann will ask him to allow her a few minutes during the New Business segment of the faculty meeting.

The committee also suggested we ask Sharon Johnson in EOF to present a workshop.

Joann will work with Catherine Styles in the Cafeteria and Jenny Wagner to determine numbers of individuals who can comfortably fit in the EEC and other rooms. 

Our next meeting will be held on Wednesday, February 27, 2:30 pm in L311.
