Professional Development Committee Minutes
February 27, 2008

The PDC met on Wednesday, February 27, in Room L-311 on the Cranford Campus. 
Those present were: Judith Otterburn-Martinez, Marc Postiglione, Josaine Royster and Joann Levey.

Regarding the April 12 Teaching and Technology Conference, the committee decided on the following:

Food:    Continental Breakfast, Morning Singles and Traditional Deli lunch. 
            Joann will complete the Food Request forms and ask Dr. Smith to sponsor it.

Rooms:  Change the room for the breakfast and mid-morning break from the EEC to N5-A.

Marketing:  Joann will send out a flyer March 12 announcing the Conference.  She
              will mention it at the Faculty meeting on March 19.  Finally, she will send a
              campus-wide email the week prior to the Conference.

Jobs at the Conference:
               Marc Postiglione and Judith Otterburn-Martinez: greet newcomers, have people sign in,
                                       give out identity badges, direct people to workshop rooms
               Josaine Royster: oversee food for breakfast, break and lunch

Workshops:  will be limited to 50 minutes to give attendees time to move to next stop

Still needed: Someone on the committee to meet the speaker at 8:30 am
                  Someone to introduce speaker

The next meeting of the committee will be on Wednesday, March 26, in Cranford (Room L-314) from 2:20-3:30pm
