We need to get the faculty more involved particularly for suggesting topics for workshops both during the year and for the T&T conference. If faculty provide the content, Joan will arrange the room and coffee and cookies. 2007 Technology and teaching Conference We again need to arrange for a keynote speaker. There is $2,500 in the budget, so if $1,500 is used to play the workshop presenters, that leaves $1,000 for the keynoter. We should be able to get a pretty prestigious speaker. Question remains Friday or Saturday and the exact date. Maria suggested that we try holding the conference in Elizabeth since it would be easier to get a large lecture room for the keynoter. Joann said said attendance at Elizabeth Workshops is below Cranford. Given that Palm Sunday is April 1 so Easter is April 8, reasonable dates in late March (to avoid snow cancellation etc) are Friday: March 23 or Saturday March 24.
