Assignment 1 - Sept. 21, 2006
One of the main themes in the novel, Plain Truth, is neonaticide.  On the Activities page, you will find a brief description of this phenomena.  There you will also find a link (http://www.injersey.com/news/prom/)to an article ("Denial of pregnancy called common among teens") that appeared in the Asbury Park Press on June 10, 1997. 
The assignment is to read the article and to answer the questions on the Activity Page.  Please answer the questions on loose leaf paper or on a Word Document to be collected.  You will have 30 minutes to finish the assignment.

Research Project

You have selected a topic for your research project and have been assigned a date for the presentation. 
Requirements
Time limits: 5 minutes for each presenter.  Plan accordingly.
An outline prior to your presentation
A presentation software Power Point or a Word Document with your outline
Research sources - 3 (2 from the college's Database, one from the Internet) or
4 (2 from the college's Database and 2 from the Internet
A Bibliography
Outline
The outline must include:
The title of your presentation
The main ideas of your presentation
Any subtopics.  (Examples will be given in class.)
Sources including title and authors
