MAT 022 On-Line
Introduction to Algebra
This course is
- intended as a refresher for those who had have algebra previously
- self-paced
- instruction software available on
CD, with accompanying textbook.
The student is expected to
- spend at least 8 hours a week on this course. (4 hours of computer time, 4 hours of
homework/practice
- take weekly assessments (quizzes) via computer and/or hand in weekly homework
assignments (via email or US mail).
- pass a proctored midterm exam and a cumulative final exam without the use of a calculator
- pass a proctored multiple-choice exit test (NJ Basic Skills Test) without the use of a
calculator.
