Objectives: 

a)  encourage and facilitate student participation in volunteer activities, providing students the opportunity to pursue their community interests;

b)  assist in existing volunteer endeavors; and

c)  foster positive community relations.

Opportunities:

-Tutor local children

-Spend time with sick children

-Assist the elderly

-Help the homeless & poor

-Assist animal organizations

-Help with UCC events

-Participate in fund-raisers & walkathons

Qualifications & Requirements:

-Commitment to helping others

-Reliability, people are counting on you

-Willingness to learn, training is sometimes needed

-Flexibility, schedules may vary

-Attend monthly meetings

-Participate in volunteer activities & provide verification

-Professional, polite behavior
