The New Pathways to Teaching in New Jersey (NPTNJ) program is established as a Statewide consortium among New Jersey City University, collaborating NJ community colleges, and affiliated school districts in New Jersey. The program is designed to provide alternate route education certification programs to qualified candidates as part of their collective response to statewide and local needs for certified teachers. Candidates already hold a Bachelor’s Degree, having earned an undergraduate GPA of 2.75 or better. Some participants are enrolled in graduate classes in addition to seeking state certification. Union County College is now in its third year as a participating community college in NPTNJ. For more information, visit: http://www.ucc.edu/ContinuingEducation/NPTNJ.htm |
