Student-centered Instruction

In an online environment, instructor is not viewed as the sole source of information any more.  In student-centered instruction, instructor learns how to choose the class materials and textbook that appeal to students and to design class activities that motivate students to learn.  As students become self-directed, there is shift toward more interactive and collaborative learning.
